Visit the New Aphex at NAMM 2011

Robin Sibucao and David Wiener

Anaheim, CA, December 2010…. Following last year’s acquisition by DWV Entertainment, legendary audio manufacturer Aphex will debut its new management team and new product line-up at this year’s NAMM Convention.

At the Aphex booth #5696, the company will take the wraps off the newly redesigned flagship Model 204 Aural Exciter and Optical Big Bottom, as well as the revamped Model 230 Channel Strip. Also on demo will be a brand new series of the popular Aphex line of  instrument pedals, including the Xciter and Punch Factory.

General Manager Rick McClendon and Product Development Director Jim Bailey will be on hand to talk about Aphex’s upcoming products, while CEO David Wiener and COO Robin Sibucao will also be there to discuss the company’s future plans and collaborations, including several announcements of unprecedented new ventures for Aphex.

The first of these ventures, a cooperation with Dean Guitars, has seen the creation of the world’s first Aphex-equipped acoustic/electric guitars. The recently released Dean Aphex guitars have met with critical acclaim from musicians and dealers across the industry.

“Although DWV acquired Aphex early last year, this will be our first major trade show since that acquisition,” remarked CEO David Wiener. “We’re really looking forward to showing people across the pro audio and music industry what we’ve been up to, and sharing the excitement behind our plans for the future of this great brand.”

Aphex will also co-sponsor The Second Annual NAMM Jam, held on Friday, January 14, 2010 at the Grove in Anaheim, and starring Megadeth, supergroup Hellyeah, and an all-star jam, as well as the Coffin Case Fashion Show.
