Remote Software FULL INSTALL 2-disk
set 32-bit application for Windows 95/98/2000.
Download and unzip the two files to two
1.44MB floppy disks. Run Setup from Disk 1. The installation will
proceed. Alternatively, without using floppies, unzip both files to
a temp directory on your hard disk and then run Setup.exe.

2020MkIII FLASH Downloads
|
NOTICE:
If you have not installed any version of the 2020 remote
control program on your computer, then you may not have
certain critical system files that will be needed to run
the flash update program. If you get runtime errors when
trying to run the flash update, then download these files
and save them into the directory or floppy disk where
the flash update program is stored.

Released 03/01/2002, this is the latest
version FLASH code upgrade. Requires version 3.00 EPROM. Check your
unit for which versions of FLASH and EPROM are installed by looking
at the INFO selection of the main menu.
V3.01b FLASH Update Instructions:
1. Connect the 2020 MkIII serial port to your pc com
port using a "null modem" cable. Your 2020 manual shows
how to construct this cable if you need to make one. (The
diagram is in Chapter 11 of the PDF files, above.)
2. Unzip the zip file to
a temporary hard disk directory. Start the download.exe program
from this directory. The updater application will open and you will
see a control panel with START and STOP buttons as well as other indications.
Pick the correct com port used by your pc to connect to the 2020 and
press START. You will be prompted on how to ready the 2020 for updating
and will be able to watch the process.
3. As directed by the update
application, initiate the upload process at the 2020 by first powering
the unit OFF then powering it on while holding down both the "ESC"
and "ENTER" buttons on the front panel. You will get the
uploading menu and progress will be displayed until the upload is
completed.
4. Press any button on the
2020 MkIII to reboot with the updated operating code.

2004 - Special Software Update "Brilliance" |
|
A flaw in the "Brilliance"
control software has been found. This control is ONLY
on those units that have the HF limiter installed (option
2 or 3) This flaw can be fixed by installing a new EPROM
and loading a new Flash version.
The updated EPROM and Flash,
along with installation instructions, will be mailed
to you after we receive your unit's serial number
and mailing instructions. This is the ONLY way to receive
this update. Click
